About the Author

Roger Peverelli was just seven when he won his first championship. “We celebrated with chips and mayo at a roadside restaurant run by our coach’s parents. These days, it’s a brothel.”
Even though he’s been playing football every Thursday night and Sunday morning for over five decades, that one win was it.
Roger is better known as a strategy consultant and change-maker in the financial sector. He has previously authored two bestselling management books that have appeared in eight languages.
For the first time, Roger brings these two worlds together, uniting his passion for football with his commitment to meaningful change — both on and off the pitch.
